Saoirse’s Homework Quest is a family homework planner operated by Meghan O’Reilly-Green for invited family members.

Information used

The private app uses your Google account email and account identifier to control access. It stores homework completion, practice sessions, and related progress entered in the app. With permission, it reads the selected Google Calendar and displays event titles, dates, and times. It does not import event descriptions, guest lists, attachments, or video links into the schedule.

Google Calendar permissions

Calendar access is read only. The app does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. Google account identity is used to check the authorized account. Calendar information is used only to provide the family schedule, not for advertising, sale, or training AI models. Use and transfer of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

Google Cloud hosts the private app and stores homework progress in Firestore. Calendar authorization credentials are stored server-side in Google Secret Manager. Calendar results may be cached temporarily to display the schedule. Cloudflare hosts these public information pages. Hosting providers may process routine connection and security logs. The public pages have no advertising or added analytics scripts.

Access and retention

Only approved family Google accounts can access the private app; parent controls are restricted to the parent account. Homework records remain until reset or deleted by the family administrator. Disconnecting Calendar stops future access; it does not delete events from Google Calendar. You can also revoke authorization through Google Account connections. Temporary cached events are cleared as the service cache expires or restarts.

Children and family use

This is an invitation-only family app, not a public registration service. A parent manages access and authorizes integrations for supervised accounts.
